What’s the ROI of YOU?
Since the very first moment I began helping businesses and professionals use Social Media to build their brand, I’ve been asked “What’s the ROI of Social Media?“.
When it comes down to developing a strategy and converting clients, ROI (which stands for return-on-investment) is essential. You want to be sure the time and money you’re expending towards producing results is producing results that warrant that investment.
According to Wikipedia, to calculate ROI you examine the benefit (or return) of an investment is divided by the cost of the investment, and the result is expressed as a percentage or a ratio.”
While ROI is typically calculated and defined by a monetary investment, have you ever thought about the ROI of YOU?
Some of these benefits can be intrinsic or extrinsic.

To find the ROI of you, you have to calculate the intrinsic and/or extrinsic benefits you provide divided by the cost of trust, financial investment, fear of failure and/or embarrassment.
The question is: Do the benefits outweigh the costs when people invest in YOU?
