AI Training for Professionals: How to Think With AI
You know a little about AI, but you're not sure where to start.
You don't need another list of prompts; you need to know when AI actually helps and when it gets in your way.
Most AI training teaches tools, but I work alongside you to build the judgment that makes AI useful, so you can use it with confidence and keep your own voice intact.

What's Actually Holding People Back
What holds people back is rarely the technology.
It's usually one of these:
- You're not sure the output is any good, or worse, you can't tell when it isn't.
- You don't know where AI fits into work you already do well.
- You're worried leaning on it too much will flatten your voice, or your team's.
These are reasonable concerns. The fix isn't more tool tutorials. It's building the judgment to answer them yourself.
Why AI Training Matters Now
AI is already part of how people live and work.
The real question is whether you're using it with judgment or just guessing.
Let's talk about how to get started, what to hand off, what to keep, and how to tell good output from confident-sounding garbage (aka "AI Slop").
Hi. I'm Leslie.
I've worked in digital marketing since 1997, well before Google existed the way it does now.
I've specialized in LinkedIn and social strategy since 2009. I'm an instructor for the Digital Marketing Certificate at Ontario Tech, a LinkedIn Top Voice, and a corporate trainer.
Over the past three years, I've trained professionals in Canada and the US on ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude.
I've led training and keynotes at various conferences including Project Summit*BA World and The Administrative Professionals Conference.
I specialize in working in compliant-based environments (government and financial services) to help professionals use AI as a thinking partner that require the same judgment regardless of the tool(s) you use.
My goal is to ensure you protect your brand and keep your voice intact while you use AI to do more of it.
Customized AI Training
We'll look at how your team actually works, then build training around it:
- Where AI can save real time versus where it just moves the work around
- How to keep judgment and quality control in the loop
- How to integrate AI into daily work without it replacing your thinking
- How to use AI for content and strategy without it sounding like AI wrote it
Clients have included The Government of Canada, various financial advisors and executives.
