4 Simple Steps to Add Calls-to-Action Buttons on Facebook

We know we’re NOT allowed to use calls-to-action (CTAs) on the Facebook cover image.

But we ARE allowed to use the buttons beneath the cover page.

Here are the simple steps to change them.

Step 1: Log into your Admin panel, on the “Edit Page” drop down menu,  click on “Update info”

Step 2: Click on “Apps” tab on right, and then choose the App you want to change the image for.

Click on the “Edit Settings” link

In this case,  I’m changing the image for Networked Blogs.

Step 3: Click on the “Change” link where it says “Custom Tab Image”
(you can also change the custom tab name as well)

 Step 4: Click on the “Change” link and upload the button you have created in in the following dimensions.

Width: 111px
Height: 74px
Maximum file size: 5MB

And there you have it folks…Updated calls-to-action to encourage your visitors to:

  • Read your blog
  • Subscribe to your newsletter
  • Watch your videos
  • Visit your Pinterest pinboard

(note, the Photos tab is anchored and cannot be changed, but the other tabs may be moved and changed as you wish)
