Top Salespeople Use LinkedIn to Sell More
LinkedIn is such a powerful channel when you learn how to use it properly.
Seems quite a few stellar sales-folk (aka Enthusiasts, in this study) are using this powerful tool to:
- research their customers to find out who the key contacts and decision-makers are for a company
- prospect and reach out to those key contacts
- join groups to stay in touch and improve industry knowledge
- stay in touch with current customers
and most importantly……
- Generate revenue!
According the the article,
“Over 40 percent of Enthusiasts indicated they have successfully generated revenue based upon LinkedIn-related efforts. Conversely, less than 20 percent of Casuals successfully generated revenue directly attribute to LinkedIn.
Overall, 18% of all survey respondents indicated they have generated additional sales as a direct result of their LinkedIn activities.”
