… consumers trust peer voices when they communicate on social networking sites, content sharing sites and online-only information sources. 

 So, how can you easily encourage your employees to share using LinkedIn?

Step #1: Ensure you have a Social Media Policy in place that outlines the scope of what is and isn’t appropriate when it comes to the use of Social Media.
Step #2: Develop a content calendar with created and curated content that is relevant to your target audience. (Note: Sharing the right content in the right context on the right channels is crucial. Keep the content professional on LinkedIn, please!)
Step #3: Ask your staff to “FOLLOW” your Company Page so the status updates appear in their feed.
Step #4: When you publish status updates, encourage your team to share this approved content with their network. Pro tip: When re-sharing content, status updates with questions will elicit more engagement. For example: “Check out our new post about (subject matter). I agree with point #4, what do you think?”
